of videos from Singapore was curated by Jennifer Teo from The

Artist Palle Nielsen has created playgrounds most of his life and
presented some from the end of the 1960s. He took part in playground
actions with architects and artists in which they cleared back courtyards.
The idea was that children should experience a freer life.

Before Red Roses started in 1974, I took part in courtyard renovations.
Some people were against nursery schools that bussed kids out of the
city. They thought kids should stay in their own neighbourhoods. Our
principle was that children should develop through play.
